My First Column for TryHandmade.com was published this morning, Yay!, let me know what you think :D

I also got my acceptance Letter for the Young Designers Market on the 6th of December.. Should be awesome, is at Southbank here in Brisbane.  Very much looking forward to it, lotsa sewing to get done! :D

I made some very cute KeyFobs for sale in the store, I use mine constantly, its great for helping to find your keys in the bottom of a bag, or for putting around your wrist when your hands are full and you are concerned about locking them in the car or something similar.... But I find them very hard to photograph, What do you think I should do to improve the pics ?

I wish I was this Good! lol

NerveWracking!

I recently applied for a weekly Columnist position at TryHandmade.com.  I was successful (Yay Me!) and have just submitted my first Column... its nerve wracking.  I'm a very adept writer, and yet I still quiver just a little when I submit anything in writing.  I think its because I have a tendency to write exactly how I speak.... Wordy and with excess Grammar!.

I have been told, however, that this makes for interesting reading, so we will see how we go.

I have been struggling a little lately with finding my niche and trying to make my blog a little more personalised, rather than so clinical and business like... I'm hoping that this may help me to do that, getting to know fellow bloggers, and being forced to write a column at least once a week etc....

It might help me to gain some more readers too, which in turn might make me feel more like sharing lol.

I find it odd, I love reading little things about other peoples lives, and yet, I always think, why would anyone want to hear about my boring, depressing, lonely life as a single mum with little to no support..... but I enjoy reading about other peoples daily lives, so *shrug* catch 22 and all that!

In other news, the Tula Pink, Hushabye, in aqua and Chocolate Cot Quilt is quilted, and just waiting for binding, I love this quilt, and can't wait to get it in the washing machine.. I'm so sad that its a for sale one lol!
